WOODEN SPOONS
THE PROCESS
From the wood, the shape, the tones and the figure of the wood, every spoon I carve is different. Using hand tools such as a hook knife, chisels and a carving knife, I create a beautiful yet useful kitchen tool that will last for generations.
Each spoon is sanded to a very smooth finish, laser engraved with my maker's mark then coated in food-safe oil for great protection.

THE PROCESS
Forged out of recycled high carbon steel, each spoon is unique. Using a propane forge, various swage blocks and hammers, I express my love of blacksmithing with each piece that I create.
Spoons are not the only thing happening in my forge! I love to experiment and grow my skills with various items such as hairpins, jewelry, candle holders and more.

STORY
Woodworking has been part of my life since I was a child. Growing up, my father was a cabinet maker and I always had a love for wood.
I started carving wooden spoons in 2019 as a hobby and soon fell in love with the craft. For me it is a great way to express myself and to connect with like minded people from all over the world.
As for blacksmithing, I have discovered a passion for it recently and quite frankly, I can't get enough of it. This ancient art is full of possibilities and endless learning.
